Coffee Plunger (French Press)

What will you need?
20g x BellyBump Coffee ground
600ml x Hot Water
1 x BB Coffee Plunger

Method
Step 1

Add 20g (2 tbsp) of BellyBump Coffee ground to your BB Coffee Plunger

Step 2
Use your kettle to boil water and wait a few minutes. Pour in 600mL of hot water (approx. 96°C) to fill your BB Coffee Plunger up to ~3cm from the top.

Step 3
Let the coffee brew for 4-6 minutes then stir the top ‘crust’ layer allowing all coffee to fall to the bottom.

Step 4
Insert the filter and gently push down.

Step 5
Now pour, add milk and/or raw sugar and share with... no one, cause you deserve to drink it all yourself! 😉

Method

Step 1: Grind the coffee

Grind 60g coffee beans to a medium fine grind or use our already ground coffee

Step 2: Heat the water

Heat 190ml water to hot but not boiling (93°C to 95°C).

Step 3: Add coffee and wait 4 minutes:

Add the medium fine ground espresso coffee to the BB Coffee Plunger. Top with the hot water and stir. Set a timer and wait 4 minutes.

Step 4: Plunge

Place the lid on the BB Coffee Plunger and slowly press on the plunger all the way down. Serve.
